IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada. As a government agency, IC is responsible for the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Its responsible products are roughly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, engineering and medical equipment.
Similar to the FCC in the United States, ICs currently only limit electromagnetic interference.
verification method:
Can adopt two methods of self-verification and certification.
IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits) + UPN (Unique Product Number, up to 8 digits).
ID application notice:
1. Must have Canadian representative address information.
2. The label must contain the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).
Related standards for IC certification:

ICES-003 digital terminal equipment: Interference-Causing Equipment Standards-Digital Apparatus, such as ICES003: ITE: products and computer peripheral office equipment.
IC RSS Series low power radio frequency products for transmitting and receiving equipment. Such as: RSS 210, applicable products: wireless mouse and keyboard, wireless remote control toys and various low-power wireless RF products, CS03 (telecommunications terminal product PSTN).
